Augustin Courcoux

As a passionate and ambitious sound designer, I believe that sound design plays an essential role in creating an immersive and memorable experience.

I have spent the last few years working at Novelcast studios in Paris, where I have gained extensive experience in audiobook recording and audio drama production. I have worked on over 100 audiobooks in the past 5 years and have been involved in the production of several well-known audio dramas, including "De Profundis" (Dolby Atmos mix), "The Sandman series," and "La cité Ensevelie."

In addition to my experience in audiobook recording, I have also studied Sound Technics at ESIS in Paris for 3 years and Game Audio at ACFA Multimedia in Montpellier, France.

During my studies, I worked on several student games for Rubika, IIM Paris, and ArteFX. I also participated in the Montpellier Ubisoft & ETPA GameChallenge 2019 (GACHA) for which we created an awesome game with my team.

Throughout my career, I have developed my lifelong passion for audio, video games and storytelling. I am up-to-date with the latest technologies used in sound post-production, and I have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

During my studies, I was involved in several small projects and some big ones, including the television cartoon "George & Paul", on which I worked as a sound designer, at Studio Xander (Utrecht, NL) where I also sharpened my experience in sound editing and sound design on web commercials and TV series.

I also worked on a lot of short films, some of which are on my IMDb.
